Richmond man murdered in Vancouver restaurant
A Richmond man died after being rushed to hospital after a shooting inside a Vancouver restaurant on Wednesday night.
The 51-year-old, whose name has not been released, was one of four people inside the restaurant, at 4884 Victoria Dr., when gunfire erupted.
The victim was taken to hospital but died Thursday.
Investigators don't believe this was a case of a random shooting and said the victim was known to them.
Vague descriptions of the shooter were given to police, who were continuing to interview witnesses Thursday.
Police believe some of the witnesses to the shooting left the restaurant before officers arrived, and now they're looking to speak to these people.
Witnesses are asked to call the Vancouver Police Department's homicide section at 604-717-2500.
