Chapters in Richmond to close

Chapters Richmond location at Ackroyd and No. 3 Road is slated to close at the end of May.

Customers learned of the closure this week. The big box bookseller has been downsizing and recently announced the closure of two stores in Toronto. The Richmond store was among the first Chapters to open in B.C. and has been on Ackroyd for more than 15 years.

It's been a bad year for booksellers in Richmond. Black Bond Books in Lansdowne Centre is also closing its doors.
