Young scientists to descend on Aberdeen for Science Jam

Bubbling volcanoes and lemon-powered batteries won’t be all you’ll see this Tuesday, when more than 1,000 young scientists don sparkling white lab coats to share their smarts.

Science Jam 2012 will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Aberdeen Centre mall.

More than 500 student-prepared projects under the guidance of 42 teachers at 16 schools will be on display, and the public is invited to check out the work.
