ShowStoppers to perform on Family Day
Perry Ehrlich's ShowStoppers are performing during Family Day festivities in Vancouver on Monday, Feb. 11.
The troupe will be performing at 2:25 p.m. on the stage at the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza as part of the entertainment lineup sponsored by the Province of BC.
Under the direction of Richmond business lawyer Perry Ehrlich, ShowStoppers, a dynamic group of young performers who love to sing, dance and entertain, have appeared in concert, on TV and radio, and at numerous conventions, awards dinners, galas, and corporate and charitable events throughout BC. Previous performances include 11 shows during the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, Canada Day at Canada Place, Cloverdale Rodeo & Exhibition, Miss World Canada Pageant, openings of the Richmond Olympic Oval and new Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre, at the Pacific National Exhibition, and Rogers Santa Claus Parade and Canada Day Parade.
Members of ShowStoppers have participated in Ehrlich's Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance! musical theatre summer program, now heading into its 19th year at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver. They have also appeared in professional theatrical productions on virtually every stage in the Lower Mainland, and include winners of the Star Discovery at the Pacific National Exhibition and BC Festival of the Performing Arts and at world and international competitions.
