Participants wanted for Doors Open
Doors Open Richmond is now accepting applications from local arts, culture, religious and heritage venues to participate in the sixth annual event.
Set for May 4 to 5, Doors Open invites visitors to tour up to 50 local sites to celebrate Richmond’s culture.
Last year’s sites drew a total of 18,000 visitors, according to the City of Richmond, which co-ordinates the event.
To participate, venues must offer free admission, be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on designated dates, be of architectural, historic or cultural note, and enhance public’s knowledge of the city. Artist studios are also welcome.
Cost to participate is $20 for an individual or $50 for an organization.
Applications are being accepted online at richmond.ca/doorsopen. Deadline is Feb. 15.
