The Best of Richmond
Welcome to our fourth annual Best of Richmond edition.
The Best of Richmond is our biggest edition of the year and certainly the one we most enjoy putting together.
It’s a chance for us to take a break from news beats to take a snapshot of the many things we love about this community. Many “best ofs” came to us through our day-to-day work, but a lot of eating and shopping went into our lists.
We’ve also asked some of our readers what they like best about the community.
And our readers took part as well in our annual Best of Richmond Reader’s Poll.
The top finisher in each category gets to place a funky Best of Richmond sticker in their store.
Congrats to all the winners and also special thanks to this year’s models Maryana Dudchenko and David Cohen. Dudchenko, is an elite ballroom dancer, Richmond High grad and Kwantlen student, who hopes to one day add “world champion” to her already impressive resume. Cohen is an actor and attends R.A. McMath Secondary. Both have been students of the Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance! musical theatre program run by Richmond’s Perry Ehrlich.
