Missing youth was seen busking in Richmond
Richmond RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old Quebec resident last seen in Richmond on Jan. 31.
David Fortin has been missing from his home in Alma, Quebec since Feb. 10, 2009. The Surete Du Quebec is conducting the investigation into Fortin’s disappearance and has received information that Fortin was seen at the Superstore in Richmond (4651 No. 3 Rd.) on Jan. 31. Fortin was apparently playing a guitar for money.
Fortin was last seen leaving his home to wait for his school bus. His parents say he complained the night before he disappeared that someone threatened to hurt him at school.
Fortin speaks French and is described as a Caucasian male, 5'8" tall, 165 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. The photo of Fortin that has been included is age-progressed to what he would look like at 16 years of age.
