Richmond RCMP are looking for a 47-year-old Chinese woman who disappeared the day she was supposed to return to China.

Lianjie Guo is a Chinese citizen who was visiting family in Canada with her husband and was supposed to return to China on June 7. She was last seen on June 7 in Richmond. Concerned family members later reported her missing on June 8 as this was unusual behaviour for Guo.

Guo is a 47 year old Asian female, approximately 5'4" tall, weighs approximately 120 pounds, has short black spiky hair, was last seen wearing a blue jacket with "roses" pattern a fur collar, red blouse, brown belt, blue jeans and carrying a red coloured handbag. She speaks Cantonese, has little or no knowledge of English and has no knowledge of the Lower Mainland area, police say.

Anyone with information regarding Guo may call Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212.
