Trio arrested as cops clip Kevin Drug Line
A seven-month RCMP investigation into a local drug operation has led to the arrest of three people, two from Richmond.
Richmond Mounties announced on Friday that they'd shut down what was known on the streets as the Kevin Drug Line.
Four search warrants were executed Wednesday, which resulted in the arrested of three people, one from Burnaby.
As well, investigators seized several thousand dollars in cash, cocaine and crack cocaine, as well as drug trafficking materials and a loaded firearm.
Two high-end vehicles were also seized from the operation, which sold cocaine and crack cocaine to addicts in Richmond.
The trio have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and firearm offences.
The three accused appeared in Richmond provincial court on Thursday, and have since been released.
