Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau visits Richmond

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau was seen by thousands of people celebrating Chinese New Year in Richmond on Friday morning.

Trudeau visited both Aberdeen Centre, and the Lingyen Mountain Temple on No. 5 Road, receiving a tour of the Buddhist temple and monastery on Richmond's Highway to Heaven.

No. 5 Road was jammed with traffic in front of the temple, located near Williams Road, as was another Buddhist temple on Steveston Highway.

"You can't have a mountain temple without a little bit of height," Trudeau joked to his tour guides after being shown plans for the temple.
