Richmond RCMP have arrested a man suspected of numerous offences, from sexual assault to fraud, in four cities including Burnaby.

Novid Dadmand, 28, of Richmond has been charged with 11 criminal offences related to sexual assault, break-and-enter theft and fraud. The crimes are alleged to have taken place over a six-year period, say Richmond Mounties.

The suspect was identified due to the similar circumstances of the crimes, which took place in Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver and Surrey. He allegedly used social media to befriend his victims.

Police allege the suspect posed online as a modeling agent, convincing victims to meet him for photo shoots in exchange for money or gifts. Most of the offences are alleged to have occurred during these meetings.

Dadmand, who has also been known to use the alias Robert Peako, was to appear in Richmond Provincial Court Wednesday afternoon.

Anyone who has come into contact with Dadmand who has not yet spoken to police are encouraged to come forward and contact the tipline at 604-207-4762,  Richmond_tips@rcmp-grc.gc.ca or, to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
