Big crowds enjoy sunny Steveston Salmon Festival

Tens of thousands of people came out to Steveston to celebrate Canada's 147th birthday at the 69th annual Steveston Salmon Festival.

A parade, salmon bake, live entertainment, trade show, Japanese cultural events, crafts and children’s activities were among the attractions.

The City of Richmond's Ships to Shore event also ran at Britannia Shipyard.
