Richmond’s Elliott Mason is this week’s top men’s basketball player in the Pacwest college  league.

Now in his third season, the talented six-foot-six guard—a graduate of J.N. Burnett Secondary—showed his shooting prowess by putting up 21 points on eight-for-16 shooting, including five treys, to lead the Langara Falcons  past the Douglas Royals Friday.

A member of the all‐rookie team in 2011, Mason has developed into a great shooter both in the half‐court and in transition. His play has been key in the Falcons’ perfect 6-0 start this season.
