Wildcats win at Handsworth hoops
The McMath Wildcats Grade 9 girls basketball team won the Handsworth Invitational Grade 10 Basketball Tournament.
The team was able to defeat Handsworth (43-29), Seycove (33-17) and Argyle (41-34) to bring home the trophy.
Team members are: Claire Reynolds, Julia Wilson, Denise Su, Jessica Jones, Jessica Folk, Justine McCaskill, Montana Leonard, Claire Siqueira, Jessica Zawada, Ellie Reid, Carmen Milne, Kyra Loat, Mikayla Weissler, Hannah Partridge, Bonnie Leung and Ali Burns.
Coaches are Nathan Kishi and Anne Gillrie-Carre.
